Since the BHS & other governing bodies have released a statement this week that riding schools may reopen in a restricted capacity and must following the strict guidelines with social distancing and increased hygiene and bio security.
We are pleased to inform you we will begin to take small steps to reopen parts our riding school from Tuesday 26th May 2020 with a Limited service only.
Our Riding school office will remain closed and we will be launching a booking hotline which will be launched on Monday 25th May 2020 and will only operate between the hours of 10.30 am – 4pm every Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays thereafter.
We would also like to ask our older more vulnerable adult riders that need assistance in mounting and dismounting to please hang on until this pandemic has cleared before booking to come back riding we understand this can be a lonely time for some of you but our clients and our staff safety and health is paramount.
The following criteria will apply:
All liveries / clients must still adhere to their arranged time slots with the yard prior to arriving.
We can only offer private lessons at this time,
We can only accept bookings from competent riders who are able to ride without assistance.
All stable yards are closed for access to the general public No riding school clients will be permitted in any part of our stable complex, your horse and instructor will meet you in the main arena.
Riding school clients are permitted to use the lower car park only , Please park at least 2m away from other cars.
We will only take bookings from clients who are from households who have been observing strict social distancing, are non-symptomatic and who have observed all government requirements during lockdown. We reserve the right to ask you to take temperatures if we have any concerns.
Should your situation change between booking a lesson and the lesson day we will accept cancellations within a 24 hour period with no fee providing we are given notice by 4pm the night before your lesson.
All riders must wear their own hats and P.P.E. including clean gloves and must make use of sanitising stations upon arrival. We will not be lending equipment at this time, so please make sure you have your own!
Please note that our toilet facilities will remain closed to the general public expect in an emergency and hand sanitiser stations are available at the mounting area outside the office and by the main arena gate.
The café will also be closed until further notice.
All lessons bookings must be booked over the phone during the hours of our booking hotline. Lessons must be paid for at the time of booking by bank card. Any cancellation fees will be transferred over to the following lesson with the required cancelation policy.
Only one spectator from the same household per lesson will be permitted.
Arena space will be strictly limited in order to maintain social distancing therefore all lessons times maybe be altered.
Clients are asked not to arrive at the stables more than 10 minutes before their lesson time and to depart immediately following their lesson.
All lessons will be strictly risk assessed and kept within riders competence.
By booking a lesson you have acknowledged that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
Littlebourne Management Team reserves the right to change, cancel or reschedule any lessons, horses or coaches for safety and the welfare of our clients, horses and staff.
WE APOLOGISE FOR THE SEVERITY OF THE CURRENT CONDITIONS HOWEVER WE FEEL THAT IT IS CRITICAL TO CONFORM WITH GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES, TO DO OUR UPMOST TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF COVID -19 AND TO PROTECT THE N.H.S. PLEASE TAKE EVERY CARE TO SAFEGUARD YOURSELVES AND EVERYONE ELSE !
