John & Caroline Established Littlebourne back in 1988 back then the centre was a private stables that housed show jumping and film horses over the years the centre has grown into the first class equestrian centre that you see today. .

Ben first joined the team in 2005 as a senior instructor & Assistant Yard Manager. During his time at the centre, he has been involved in the improvement and growth of the business. Ben has helped develop Littlebourne into the first class establishment you see today. Ben is also the founder of our Pony Club and organiser of numerous events and activities for riding school clients. After a 4 year break, while Ben was running an equestrian resort in the Middle East for the AramCo oil company, he returned every summer to take the lead at our annual Pony Club Camp. In 2018, Ben returned to Littlebourne as our full time General Manager, overseeing the day to day running of the establishment and is responsible for the welfare of our animals.
Ben is a popular instructor and is available for lessons throughout the week. He has extensive experience teaching riders of all abilities. His speciality is show jumping and coaching Pony Club.
Ben is also heading all of the future plans and improvements for the centre and is currently training towards his Stage 5 Stable Managers Exams
Ben is also a Ride Safe Trainer here at Littlebourne
Claire joined the Littlebourne team as a freelance instructor back in 2015. Claire quickly proven to be a very popular instructor with our clients.
In 2017 Claire joined our team full time.

Lawrence joined Littlebourne in 2014 as a freelance instructor. Lawrence quickly established a strong clientele basis within the liveries here at the centre.
Lawrence is available for lessons by private arrangement.
Lawrence is also a Ride Safe Trainer
Sharni joined the Littlebourne team in 2018 as a freelance instructor. Sharni has quickly become very popular with our younger clients bringing fun to learn within all of her lessons. Sharni is available for group lessons on Sunday

Sorrel joined Littlebourne in 2013 and has worked with us on a freelance basis ever since. Sorrel has over 15 years experience within the equine industry and is a big advocate for equine welfare.
Sorrel speciality lies with classical dressage and as such she has trained with various international dressage judges over past 10 years. Sorrel is available for both flat and jump lessons for all age groups, on a pre-booking basis.
Sorrel is up to date with all First Aid and Safeguarding training.
Lousie Barnes - Lewis
BHSAI , Int SM
Louise is our newest freelance instructor, with 8 years of experience teaching all ages and ability levels.
With a special interest in show jumping and coming from a competition background herself she is very keen to help others progress and build confidence whilst riding. Whether that be generally improving someone’s ability to ride or helping them get competition ready.
Alongside her vast teaching experience, Louise holds a BHS intermediate Stable Managers Certification.
Kelly specializes in teaching actors, actresses, stunt professionals and general public to horse ride for film and TV. I have worked in the film industry for over 25 years.
" I am a fully qualified Horse Master and Stunt Co-coordinator on the British Stunt
My background is Show jumping and have represented Great Britain over twenty times in Juniors and seniors. One of my highlights was winning the National Under 21 championship when I was 17.
I have taught a vast amount of artists including Cate Blanchet, Eva Green, Kierra Knightly, Edward Norton, Marc Strong, Samantha Morton, Ray Winstone and many more. I also teach children and believe to get the best out of them horse riding they need to have lots of fun"

Everyone at the Centre is a trained and experienced professional.
Our status as a BHS Where to Train Centre means all our staff are continually updating their knowledge and skills to ensure they are completely up-to-date.
Everyone at the Centre has taken the BHS Child Protection Course and have first aid training in one form or another.
