The Riding School
With over 60 well schooled horses and ponies and British Horse Society qualified instructors, there is something for everyone at Littlebourne! Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced rider, we can help you achieve your riding goals.
We can offer private, semi-private or group lessons throughout the week from 10am-6pm Tuesday-Sunday. Later lessons are available on request.
Tiny tots can start riding from 5 years old in our lead rein classes. On Mondays the horses get a well deserved day off!
How to book
Give the office a call on 01895 824350 to arrange a lesson. We are open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 10am-5pm.
Please note- we have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Lessons cancelled within 24 hours must be paid for in full.
Whilst we do our best to accommodate horse and instructor requests, unfortunately we can not guarantee availability and may be changed at late notice
For insurance reasons we cannot take children under 5 years of age.
Please note, our current weight limit is 13 stone.
What to wear
You will need to wear a well fitting riding hat that complies with the latest safety standards but don't worry if you don't have one, we can lend you a hat until you obtain your own.
Clothing is also important - you will need wellies or boots with a small heel (no trainers), and long comfortable trousers or jeans (preferably stretchy) to protect your legs.
We ride in the open air in all weather, so if it looks like rain, come prepared to ride in the rain.
For safety reasons please remove all jewellery and make sure your arms are covered (no vest tops).
